A quarry in tertiary limestones, green sandstones and quartzite sandstones.
Located on the west slope of Grünten Mt., slightly N of Burgberg im Allgäu and about 3.5 km north of Sonthofen.
Abandoned in 1999. The left part is now a parking area, the right part is a geotope.
Inactive (since 2000) quarry in limestones and sandstones of the Helvetic nappes (Helvetikum).
