Structure: The Zuni Mtns Are An Elongate Nw Trending Dome With A Core Of Precambrian Rocks. Ne Trending Fault Near A Strong Nw Trending Fault
Tectonics: Colorado Plateau
Deposit: Fluorspar occurs in a vertical brecciated fault zone that strikes N 48 E in precambrian gneissic granite. The ore mineral generally white to place green or lavendar, and medium cubic crystalline. Locally it is dense to fine-grained where it acts As cementing material for breccia fragments. Slight wall rock replacement has occurred.
