A former small surface and underground Mn mine located in North-central sec. 36, T.11S., R.2E. (protracted), in the Sheridan Mountains, 9 miles NW of Gu Achi. Owned by De Silva & Allinio.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit with ore in irregular bands and concentrations. The ore zone strikes E-W and dips 45N and is comprised of mixed hard and soft manganese oxides with some admixed hematite and calcite in replacements in Paleozoic limestone overlying quartzite.

Workings include several shallow prospect pits and shallow open cut and inclined shaft operations. The workings are 15.24 meters long, 6.1 meters wide and 4.57 meters deep. Some 540 long tons of sorted Mn ore averaging about 27% Mn were shipped in 1954-1955.
