A feldspar-mica-kyanite-Be occurrence/group of 9 claims. Located in the NWΒΌ sec. 27, T38N, R16W, G&SRM, on the North side of Virgin Peak (Bunkerville Mountain) at 4,550 feet of altitude, on private land. Claimed Feb 13, 1949 and owned and operated by the Belle Hope Mines, Ltd. (1949). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500-1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a series of 3 pegmatite dikes to 750 feet long and 1 to 5 feet wide, hosted in Neoproterozoic schist and gneiss, concordant to mica schist, underlain by Precambrian metamorphic and igneous rocks comprising mica-garnet schist, interlayered amphibolite & quartz-mica schist, and granitic augen gneiss. The ore body nis 1.52 meters wide and 228.6 meters long. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic metamorphic rocks.

Between the prospect and the base of the range, 2 miles to the North, the exposures consist of steeply dipping, probably tightly folded, schist and amphibolite, with a general northeasterly strike, containing many concordant thin sills of pegmatite. Pegmatite bodies to 4 feet thick are common.

Workings include surface openings comprised of 3 prospect pits 15 feet (5 meters) maximum depth.
