Structure: District Is Bounded On North By Major Post-Mineral Fault Alpha Fault

Alteration: Oxidation

Tectonics: Basin And Range

Deposit: Deep sulfide ore could not be handled in the 1800's, but it was worked at this mine in the 1950's. ; info.src : 1 pub lit presumably part of east-trending vein system in candelaria formation that parallels bedding. Production came from primary sulfide ore. Productive ore came from lower shale boundary

Development: Patented in 1870's, run by peterson since 1947, leased since 1952, active in 1956. Not listed As active in 1980

Geology: Age of host rocks based on fossil evidence, triassic.

Rock formation(s): Candelaria Formation; Candelaria Formation
