Alteration: Some Silication

Deposit: Discovery year: 1870's oxide lead ores occur as replacements parallel to the bedding of white limestone and along a fissure the dolly varden mine is an old lend-silver mine that dates to the 1870's. Oxidized lead ores occur As replacements parallel to the bedding of white limestone, and along a n-s fissure dipping 75 deg w. The limestones strike ene and dip S ata lo W angle. Ores are cerusite, anglesite associated with a little copper carbonate, and considerable limonite. The property was opened by the murphy shaft, and the dolly group was drilled to 240'. ; info.src : 1 pub lit
