Worked for cobalt during the 1930s and early 1940s. Massive sphaerocobaltite was relatively abundant here and for some time even mined as a cobalt ore.
The locality is also known for superb heterogenite specimens in large shiny botryoidal masses.
Located 15 km W of Kambove.
