Structure: Northwest-Striking Faults Conjugate To A Set Of East-Striking Faults
Alteration: Early Propylitic, And Inner Potassic Halos
Deposit: Vein carrying native silver, horn silver & silver sulphides, mainly the result of supergene enrichment typical bonanza type epithermal vein deposit. Most of the production occurred prior to 1890, and the maximum depth of the workings was 650 ft. ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Deposit type: Epithermal vein, Comstock
Development: Typical bonanza-type epithermal vein deposit for which most production occurred prior to 1890.
Geology: The rich silver deposits were largely the result of supergene enrichment mineralogy typical of this zone includes native silver, horn silver, argentite, stephanite, proustite, pyrargyrite, pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, and galena.
Note: This mine has been destroyed by the tuscarora mine Open pit
