Adams county is located in the south eastern quadrant of Washington state and has a total area of 5,000 km2 (1,930 square miles). Geology is comprised chiefly of Columbia Flood Basalts, Loess, and glacial flood sediments. Little collecting or mining has been done within the county and no sites area presently known in Mindat. Coordinates given are for Ritzville which is the county seat.
