NOTE: The alternate name of this locality is regrettable; however, it is thus named in the literature and its use is historically correct.

A former underground Au-Ag-Cu mine located 3 miles South of Bumblebee.
Discovered 1925. Produced 1922-1971.

Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit with a tabular ore body in Bland Quartz Diorite or schist. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration was noted. An associated rock unit is the Bland Quartz Diorite.

Area structures include foliation in Precambrian country rock that trends N-S.

Workings include a shaft. Ore bins were erected on site.
