Other/historical names associated with this locality:Auvergne; Rhône-Alpes

"(Coming from Allanche). Following the D21 west of Massiac for 22 km and then the D9 north, one arrives at Vèze situated at the entry of the 'Gorges de la Sianne'. Once past the town, there is a very tight hairpin bend in the road. At the top of the bend, one crosses the Sianne river. On a small trail upstream on the left, there are dumps with arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite, covellite, various tin minerals, graphite, marcasite, pyrrhotite, pyrite, quartz, scheelite, and tennantite."
