Part of San Pedro group. Copper mine.
Structure: A Dome-Like Warp
Tectonics: San Pedro-Ortiz Porphyry Belt
Deposit: Discovery year: 1950-1951 sparse scheelite mineralization occurs with copper sulfides and oxides, gold and pyrite along 3 bedding plane fractures in a highly silicified and garnetized limestone. The ore is found associated with carbonaceous debris in tabular or irregular pod-like shapes. The ore horizon is often found in coarse-grained sandstone or in lower channel sandstones.
