A Cu-Co-Au-Ag occurrence/claim(s)/prospect located in sec. 1, T31N, R18E, WM, on the E bank of Meadow Creek, on National Forest wilderness land (Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness) (located claim). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. The property is difficult to access and has been abandoned for many years.
Mineralization is disseminated sulfides in metasediments. The ore body strikes N70W and dips 70S. It is a shear zone deposit of hydrothermal origin. Local rocks include Pre-Upper Jurassic gneiss.
Workings include underground openings, comprised of one or more adits (refers to the lower adit).
The property has had no known production.
Sample across 18 inches in sulfide matter on the surface assayed 0.16 ounce Au, 1.48 ounce Ag, and 4.02% Cu. Sample 13 in of massive sulfides in the lower adit assayed 0.26 ounces Au, Ag, and 6.8% Cu. USGS source stated SΒ½ sec. 1, map grid po (?) minerals are pyrite, chalcopyrite, and pyrrhotite. Spectrographic analysis done on 3 samples showed that one sample contained from 0.01% to 0.1% Co.
