The name "Nedre Fett" cannot be found on any of the Norwegian map solutions, and googling is also without result.

Update 2.11.2018:

I, Ronald Werner, asked the Vegårshei municipality whether they knew of this locality.

The answer was:

Hei Ronald

Nei, dette var et ukjent sted. Historielaget har i de to siste årene lagt inn ca 4000 lokale stedsnavn i kommunen, men vi har aldri vært borte i navnet Fett. Søker man på navnet i Sentralt stedsnavnsregister hos Kartverket finner man ikke dette navnet der heller. Navnet må i beste fall være feilstavet eller feilregistrert på annen måte men jeg kommer ikke på noe navn som det kan ligne på. Så lenge vi ikke vet hvilke mineraler/bergarter som har vært drevet der gjør det saken enda vanskeligere. hadde lite å bidra med der.
