Note: The mineral augite should named as Fe2+-rich or as ferroan diopside. The growing conditions for augite sensu stricto are not given in such mineralisations of alpine clefts. [Hochleitner & Weiß 2012 and personal conversation with Dr. Stefan Weiß]
