Small sulfide deposit along a fault zone in the Helminthoid flysch formation.

Old prospect workings for Pb ore (abandoned around 1857) were carried out at the foot of Montenero, N of Terzorio, in the little valley of Rio Giunchi.

Two adits are still accessible and various mineralised blocks can be found along the stream bed.
