A former underground Au-Ag-Pb-Mo mine. Discovered 1896.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. A NNW to WNW-trending vein and fault system in Tertiary volcanic rocks. A NNW-trending fault cuts across a NW fissure zone of Leland-Gold Dust-Boundary Cone veins.

This vein lies about halfway between the Gold Dust and Leland mines. Its general strike is N.13W., and its dip 80º to 85ºE. The vein is distinctly traceable over the surface for nearly a mile and for much of this distance follows the contact between the Alcyone Trachyte on the west and the Oatman Andesite on the east. This is clearly a fault contact, the andesite being dropped against the trachyte.

Ore control was the hanging wall of the vein. Concentration was secondary enrichment. Alteration is silicification.
