Alteration: Volcanics Silicified, Kaolinized, & Brecciated Near Orebodies

Deposit: Hematite and magnetite replacements along shear zones in volcanics the property was held in 1962 by iron king adventures co. Developement consists of bulldozer cuts, and several hand dug test pits. ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Deposit type: Volcanic-hosted magnetite

Geology: Hematite and magnetite occur As replacements in alterred andesite & dacite tuff, along north trendign shear zones. Individual beds of volcanic wacke have been selectively replaced. The iron was probably derived from deuterically alterred lower cret. Plutonic rock, and transported by hydrothermal fluids (muffler, 1964)
