Location of Power Plant by McManus Gulch

McManus Gulch, Clear Creek Co., Colorado, USA
This locality is in sec. 5, T. 4 S., R. 72 W., about 2 mi east of Idaho Springs. McManus Gulch empties into Clear Creek from the south just west of Gem Power Plant. Walk up the gulch about 3/4 mi, then up a steep trail on the east side of the gulch. ("Minerals of Colorado, updated & revised", pp. 12-13, by Eckel, Edwin B., 1997)
This gulch doesn't appear to be on any map, but from what little info I have found, it may be the gulch across the creek where I-70 goes through the tunnels, east of Idaho Springs. The GPS coordinates below are where I believe the general area probably is, but they could be off.
