Description: Granitic gneiss containing plagioclase, quartz, hypersthene, potassium feldspar, biotite, and clinopyroxene bearing gneiss. Megascopically folded with garnet gneiss and shares its principle foliation (see orthogneiss description, Fryxell and others, 1992)
