Active quarry in marble.
Located about 400 m south of Elsenreith.

In the early 1980s it was mineralogically interesting. Nowadays, the quarry works in nicely banded, but generally sterile marble. Pyrite and pyrrhotite occur in blackish graphite schist.

Owned by the Renz Company. Note that this company also operates a quarry of the same name near Winkl, with which this locality should not be confused.
