Lead mine found during WWII and in production ~1945-55 appr.
Located directly SE of Moahallsgruvorna (nr 0,2& 4) and the Saxtorpsgruvan is a couple of 100 m further SE. All are located on land which belonged to the estate Kronovall.

According to a geophysical map over the area from 1942- with 4 notes about analyse results sections of 1, 2 ,2.4 and 1.5 meters gave an average of 9,5%Pb and 10 gr/ton Ag. The quartzite contain about 96% SiO2 after minor sorting.
Gränsgruvan, Varbergsmossegruvan and Trättehultsgruvan is as well mentioned on this map but cannot be located today in the field. All in all exist 17 claims in the area according to the last living miner and all excavations are filled in order to avoid accidents (pers comm, Nov 2010).
