A former baryte occurrence/mine.
Mineralization is baryte vein deposits in metamorphic rocks of Pre-Cretaceous age and sedimentary and volcanic rocks of Tertiary age. The veins follow faults.
NOTE: There are no baryte-bearing localities with this name listed in the USGS MRDS database. Comparison with other baryte-bearing localities in the Barstow area did not reveal one with similar references.
