Jeseníky Mts, Northern Moravia.
Pre-Devonian crystalline basement: orthogneisses and migmatites and Devonian regional metamorphic rocks (Variscan orogeny): quartzites, graphitic phyllites, limestones and volcanites.
The stratiform Suchá Rudná deposit is located in the chlorite-grade metamorphic zone.
It consists of a gold deposit in graphitic phyllites associated with tectonic zones.
