A former U-V occurrence/mine located in the W½ sec. 16, T036N, R29E, G&SRM, 2.8 miles SE of White Ash Peak. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is tyuyamunite and carnotite in lenticular masses hosted in Late Jurassic mudstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. Ore bodies occur in units showing the most rapid variation in thickness in the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Local rocks include rocks of the Glen Canyon Group.

Workings include underground openings involving modified room and pillar operations.

Production was 3,711 tons of ore @ 0.21% U3O8; 0.92% V2O5 (1950-1951,
1953-1954, 1956-1959 & 1962).
