Mineralization is tyuyamunite and carnotite in lenticular masses hosted in Late Jurassic mudstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Ore bodies occur in units showing the most rapid variation in thickness in the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Local rocks include rocks of the Glen Canyon Group.
Workings include underground openings including stopes (portions caved).
Production was 1,407 tons of ore @0.18% U3O8; 0.63% V2O5 (1955).
Resources may remain at this location.
