A former U occurrence/mine located in the N½ sec. 5, T28N, R10E, G&SRM, 7.0 km (4.3 miles) SE of Cameron. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.
Mineralization is an U deposit with spotty, lenticular occurrences of uraninite in carbonaceous sandstone of the basal Petrified Forest Member. Local rocks include rocks of the Chinle Formation.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 50 foot shaft with drifting.
Production was 338 tons of ore @ 0.20% U3O8 (1959).
