Ag-Pb-mines situated about 28 km southwest of the town of Tsaratanana. Shear-hosted en echelon vertical galena-bearing quartz vein. The vein forms 9 lenses over a distance of 1500m. The lenses vary from 0.20m to 3 m in width. They were productive in the early 1950s. Discovered by O. Orloff in 1949.
