Quartzofeldspathic proto/blastomylonitic granulite with interfolded lensoid bodies of amphibolite/eclogite-facies peridotite.
Presence of garnet pyroxenite and garnet websterite boudinaged layers.

The quarry was started in 1896. Until 2002 it was owned by the company Wanko. It is presently owned by the company Asamer Holding.

Located near Meidling and East of Hörfarth.
