A former lode Au mine located in secs. 28, in the NE¼ sec. 33 & in the NW & SW¼'s sec. 34, T20N, R4E, MDM, 0.7 km (2,200 feet) ESE of Monte de Oro (coordinates of record) and 5.2 km (3.2 miles) NE of Oroville. Operated by Banner Consolidated Mines, San Francisco, California (timeframe = ?) Operated by Roy D. and Jennie Livesly, Oroville, California (timeframe = ?). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a Au deposit hosted in slate and quartzite. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
