A former lode Au mine located in the SE¼SW¼ (estimated) sec. 29 and in the NE¼NW¼ (estimated) sec. 32, T25N, R4E, MDM, 1.0 km (3,200 feet) WSW of Inskip, along Inskip Creek. Owned by John A. and Frank X. Feehan, San Francisco, California. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
The ore body strikes NE and dips SE at a thickness of 0.91 meters. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic granitic and metamorphic rocks undivided and/or Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 3 (Northwestern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot drift with 125 feet of backs plus crosscuts.
