A former placer Au occurrence/drift mine located in sec. 25,T5N, R11E, MDM, about 3 km ENE of Golden Gate Hill in Old Woman Gulch, N of the Lombardi Ranch (about 2½ miles S of Mokelumne Hill). Property comprised 40 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is .
Mineralization is a placer Au deposit located on the Deep Blue Lead paleochannel. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 50 foot shaft and an 8-stamp mill in 1914.
