A former lode Au mine located in sec. 1, T4N, R11E, MDM, 0.6 km (0.4 mile) SSE of Chili Hill (coordinates of record) (2½ miles NW of San Andreas). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. The Three Brothers claim is estimated to lie inn the NW¼ of the section; the Spinola in the SE¼; tailings in the NW¼ on map GQ-222.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
