Velké Březno is a village east from Ústí nad Labem. Mineral localities are bound on a body of Katzenkoppe hill. On this hill are a few small quarries and one big quarry. All was abandoned on first dekade of the 20th century. The best samples of zeolites with green apophyllite, zeophyllite or natrolite
was discovered initially in individual tehprite boulders in a steep valley near the quarry. This samples we can see in the museum in Ústí nad Labem.
According to ancient descriptions, this samples were not found in the quarry.
If you have a big luck, you can find nice pocket with zeolites till now.
Next presence of zeolites are discovered in a individual trachyte boulders (probably broken trachyte vein). Trachyte is full of small cavities (up to 20mm) with small analcime, natrolite
thomsonite and zeophyllite. But this samples are only for documentation.

Second nice locality is on the south of Velké Březno, where is a settlement Vítov. Small quarry opened a phonolite body. There are nice sample of thomsonite balls up to 10mm.
