Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite and schist. The ore body dips vertically at a thickness of 0.61 meters and a length of 6.1 meters. There are 2 vertical tactite beds. Adjacent outcrops are chiefly schist, with no tactite observed outside of the cuts. Only traces of scheelite found. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface openings comprised of shallow open cut(s).
Production information: A few tons of ore were shipped to Los Angeles.
