A former W mine located in the NE¼ (estimated) sec. 22, T12S, R27E, MDM, 7.9 km (4.9 miles) NE of Crabtree, along Fox Gulch, a S-flowing tributary of the Kings River (directly W of the Garnet Dike Mine), on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body is 24.38 meters wide and 60.96 meters long. The granodiorite is cut by a pegmatite dike. Tactite exposure is 80 feet by 200 feet. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or limestone of probable Paleozoic or Mesozoic age.

Workings include surface openings comprised of an open cut.

Analytical data results: 2% WO3 in a small part of the tactite. The reaminder carries about 0.3% WO3.
