A former lode Au mine located in the W½SW¼SW¼ sec. 31, T13N, R10E, MDM, 1.9 km (1.2 miles) S of Spanish Dry Diggings (3¾ miles NW of Georgetown). Ptroperty was comprised of an unpatented claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Logan (1934), Plate 2 shows a portion of the claim in sec. 36, T13N, R9E. It also shows the Belle adjacent to the Railroad Hill claim on the E and the Golden Age claim adjacent and at right angles to the Bell - both in sec. 31.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
