A former lode Au occurrence/claim/mine located in sec. 1 & 12, T9N, R10E, MDM, about 2.3 km NE of Logtown (site), along Martinez Creek on the SE foot of Tombstone Mountain, on private land. The claim comprises 20 acres. Operated by Mary Ann Simpson, C/O J. P. Conroy. Operated in 1932. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Located N of the Golden Fleece claim of the Church Mine.
Mineralization is hosted in slate. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a shaft and a 275 foot adit.
Production data are found in: Clark, Wm. B. & D.W. Carlson (1956).
A small amount of ore was treated at the Church mill.
