Eureka Consolidated Quartz Mine (Senator Mine), Johnson Spring, Tibbetts District, Inyo Mts (Inyo Range), Inyo Co., California, USA

A Cu-Pb-Au occurrence located in secs. 31 & 32, T11S, R35E, MDM, 10.1 km (6.3 miles) WNW of Johnson Spring, on the western margin of the Inyo Range, within Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Paiute Wilderness Study Area), on private (patented) land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 54.86 meters and an overall depth of 24.38 meters, and comprised of an 80 foot deep shaft and 100 feet of drifts.
