A Pb prospect located in sec. 8, T24S, R43E, MDM, 4.4 km (2.7 miles) NNW of Valley Wells (9 miles N of Trona), on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station) (doubtful - too far E). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in limestone. The ore body strikes N40W and dips 40NE. The vein lies near a limestone granodiorite contact. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include underground openings with a length of Length 243.84 meters, and are comprised of an adit driven N for 800 feet.
