A former Pb mine located in secs. 23 & 24, T19S, R40E, MDM, 0.9 km (0.6 mile) W of Darwin. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in skarn (tactite). Ore is located near tactite and a quartz diorite dike. Controls for ore emplacement included a fissure. Associated rocks include diorite. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 228.6 meters and an overall depth of 15.24 meters, and comprised of a 50 foot shaft plus 700 feet of drifts.
