An U prospect located in sec. 9 & in the NW¼ sec. 10, T9N, R13W, SBM, 1.9 km (1.2 miles) ENE of Willow Springs Butte (coordinates of record), about 9.3 km (5½ miles) WNW of Rosamond, on the NE spur of the butte. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
