A former lode Cu-Pb-Zn mine located in secs. 9 & 10, T5S, R22E, MDM, 1.3 km (4,300 feet) WSW of Mount Raymond (coordinates of record) (on the lower SW slope of the mountain), along Rainier Creek, on National Forest land. Produced in 1911. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in quartzite. Associated rocks include granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
