A former Au-Ag-Cu mine located in secs. 5, NEΒΌ sec. 8, sec. 9, T8S, R18E, and in sec. 32, T7S, R17E, MDM, 2.4 km (7,800 feet) WSW of Green Mountain (coordinates of record) (3 miles W of Green Mountain school). Operated in 1902, 1907, and possibly in 1913. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. Controls for ore emplacement included fractures. The mine area is chiefly in black slate, mica-andalusite schist and blue-black quartz-biotite hornfels. Some thin lenticular beds of metavolcanic material interbedded with metasediments in minor amounts. Some metasandstone is included in the slate. The regional trends of folds and fractures is NW. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings and consisted of shafts, adits, winzes and crosscuts with some surface work. Workings are now watered and inaccessible.

Production data are found in: Bowen, O. E. and Cliffton, G. H. (1957): 64.

During 1913, 7 carloads of ore were shipped, averaging $1,000 per car ($2.50/ton of Au (period values)).
