A former placer Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 36, T5S, R15E and in sec. 1, T6S, R15E, MDM, 4.1 km (2.5 miles) WNW of Three Buttes (coordinates of record), along Burns Creek. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. NOTE: This locality is evidenced on the topo map by a large shaded area of designated tailings.
