A Mo-W occurrence located in secs. 17 (?) and 29, T4S, R28E, MDM, 1.1 km (3,600 feet) NW of Bloody Mountain (coordinates of record), on National Forest wilderness land (John Muir Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a contact metamorphic deposit hosted in granitoid, metamorphic rock. MOS2 distribution spotty. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings.

Analytical data results: MOS2 = 1.30%, WO3 = 0.7%.
