A former Au-Ag mine located in secs. 16 & 21, T4N, R27E, MDM, 1.9 km (6,400 feet) SSE of Bodie, and SSW of Silver Hill, on private (patented) land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

The ore body is a pinch and swell type formation with seams. It strikes N-S
and dips 70. Local rocks include Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 17 (Cascade Range).

Workings include underground openings comprised of shafts at 1,2300 feet deep. A mill with a 250 ton cyanide plant was built. Development of the operations was suspended about 1917.

Production data are found in: Tucker (1927) and Eakle & McLaughlin (1917).

This mine was the largest producer in the Bodie District. For more data on milling costs & production values, see Eakle & McLaughlin (1917): 154 - 157. No other production records found.

Analytical data results: Assays from the mine yielded $5.43 Au/ton, $0.35 Ag/ton (period values).
