A magnesite deposit/prospect located in sec. 26, T23S, R15E, MDM, 6.5 km (4.1 miles) E of Parkfield (not in the Parkfield District), in the SE portion of the county near the border with Kings County.

NOTE: The USGS MRDS database presented an obvious error in geographic coordinates, placing this locality outside of Monterey County. Adjustment of the latitudinal value by 1 degree S placed it at the proper location within Monterey County.
