A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 36, T16N, R8E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) N of Cedar Ridge, ENE of Union Hill (2 miles E of Grass Valley), on private (patented) land. The property comprises 13.01 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. A part of the Union Hill Quartz Mine (Union Hill Qtz; Gold Point; Centennial/Lucky/Cambridge; Union Hill vein; Cambridge-Lucky vein; Creek-Tungsten vein), Idaho-Maryland group).
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
The union Hill Mine, including the Lucky and Cambridge were credited with a total production of between $500,000 & $750,000 (period values).
