A former lode Au-Cu occurrence/mine located in the S½ sec. 20 and in the N½NW¼ sec. 29, T14N, R8E, MDM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) W of Huiggins Corner, along the S/E canyon wall of Wolf Creek, on state forest land. Owned/operated by F. S. Parker. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in diabase, slate and serpentinite. The ore body strikes N and dips W at a thickness of 7.01 meters and a length of 1,402.08 meters. It lies in diabase near a Calaveras slate contact with a serpentine belt to the E. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 12.19 meters and comprised of superficial development work and a shaft. A processing plant was erected on site.
Cu production was less than 100,000 pounds. No other production record was found.
